Jewish Federation Promotes Alys Krichavsky to
Director of Planning and Allocations
Organization Focuses on Strengthening Jewish Community and Charitable Allocations Functions
West Hartford, Conn. -- Feb. 26, 2003 -The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford announced today the promotion of Alys Krichavsky to Director of Planning and Allocations.
In her new position, she will be responsible for spearheading several important initiatives for the Jewish Federation, including the organizations outreach and continued collaboration with local affiliated agencies to enhance Jewish-related services. She will also manage the planning and allocation of Federation funds domestically and overseas.
Ms. Krichavsky brings over thirteen years of relevant experience within the Federation as well as the local community to her new position. Most recently, she served as the Federations Senior Planning Associate to the Planning Director. Her volunteer activities include serving as the past Chairperson of the Federations Super Sunday and Young Womens Division, many leadership roles at the Jewish Community Center, as well as an eighteen-year board member of the Jewish Family Services. Currently, she is a member of three committees at the Connecticut Childrens Medical Center.

Ms. Krichavsky has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Masters Degree from The University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband Jack reside in West Hartford, Conn.
