"Medically sound and beautifully written, this is one prescription I would share with all my patients and friend. Anyone seeking to shed pounds, increase energy, and add a strong measure of protection against our most serious chronic illnesses will find the tools they need here."
Neal Barnard, M.D. Physicians' Committee for Responsible Medicine, Washington, D.C.
Eithne Amos-Nunez is Irish by birth and lived in London for a number of years before emigrating to Canada where she worked in the advertising and public relations field. She and her husband,Jaime Nunez, a university professor, now reside in Florida. They went on a teaching mission to Peru for two years, where Eithne saw, first hand, the futility of modern medicine in the world of poor, nutrtion-starved individuals, and she taught young mothers the principles she herself had practiced for years without the need for any medical intervention. She saw the need to spread the good news of health and lifestyle to everyone who was sick, and so the idea of writing Be Your Own Doctor came to fruition. Eithne is a slim, youthful senior citizen who is only happy when she can help someone to good health.
