When Times Are Down Businesses Are Giving Their People A Lift
Human Resource executives and event planners within organizations and corporations are boosting the fun factor at work. Clean Comedians help with humor that appeals to everyone.
John Hakel is the Director of the Association of General Contractors in Los Angeles. This is a group of people who could be crying these days, but instead are laughing. Mr. Hakel plans numerous events for his members and associates throughout the year and he always goes for the Laughter factor.
Hakel has contacted entertainment company "Clean Comedians" and booked their stand-up comics, magicians, and other entertainers more than 25 times in the last few years. According to Adam Christing, President of Clean Comedians, "There is a trend in the business world toward good, clean fun. In the late 90's everybody wanted to party. Now that times are tougher, corporations can't always afford the big bashes, but they can still laugh and draw their people together."
Christing's company offers businesses and other organizations more than 75 funny men and women entertainers who get big laughs without getting dirty. In 2002, Clean Comedians booked more than 500 events for big companies like Procter and Gamble and small ones like Phil Liberatore, CPA.
Event planners love the service because it takes the embarrassment factor away from hiring a comedian or entertainer. Clean Comedians motto is "It doesn't have to be filthy to be funny!"
