(GREENVILLE, February 27, 2003) TetraData Corporation announced that it has signed an agreement to provide the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) with a State Data Warehousing Analysis and e-Reporting System. TetraData will provide data warehouses to all of the North Dakota school districts, to aid the districts in their school improvement efforts, and to assist the state in accountability reporting.

North Dakota has long been recognized as a nationwide leader in education as their students routinely score above average on nationally recognized assessments. Because ND educators understand the value of measurement in improving education efforts, these educational leaders have been longstanding proponents of incorporating software and service solutions into North Dakotas learning mission. As a core part of this continuous improvement effort, ND educators have sought the assistance of Dr. Victoria Bernhardts Education for the Future Initiative, adopting a practice of data analysis and continuous improvement. NDDPI chose TetraData Corporation as its solution to the unique requirements of continuous improvement:

"TetraData is pleased to be servicing the vision and education improvement efforts of North Dakota," explained Martin S. Brutosky, TetraData chairman and CEO. "We see the concern and interest in the personal achievement of each ND child as an excellent focus and look forward to supporting ND educators in their continuous school improvement efforts. We are pleased to be working with ND school districts and look forward to a successful data analysis and e-reporting implementation in North Dakota. Their data warehouse will include all of their national, state and local assessments, as well as, pertinent demographics."

Greg Gallagher, NDDPI, stated, "this tool has long been sought by educators who are committed to data-driven decision making."

The North Dakota project will span eighteen months, during which TetraData will construct the district- and state-wide data warehouses, provide ND personnel with the EASE-e Data Analysis Suite, and train ND personnel in the use of the TetraData solution.
