Los Angeles, CA Â I Got Found is a comprehensive web site created to promote the buying and selling of ideas and inventions. The site, http://www.igotfound.com, provides I Got Found users an easy to use interface that allows them to create media-rich web pages promoting their ideas and inventions. After an invention web page is built, it is automatically submitted to the I Got Found search engine allowing other site users easy access to their idea or invention details.
Perhaps the most novel feature of I Got Found is the protection afforded to users and their ideas. The I Got Found web site features several proprietary technologies that allow users to protect confidential information in their web pages yet allow easy access to interested parties via the Internet. The I Got Found site allows for the online negotiation and execution of legally binding non-disclosure agreements before an interested party can view confidential and secret information. This allows users to advertise their ideas on the Internet, but provides a level of protection not previously available before I Got Found.
The I Got Found site isnÂt geared only toward individuals with ideas and inventions. I Got Found ÂPro-Pack technologies were developed to help the professional product scout or companies looking for innovative ideas. The I Got Found site allows them to safely search for new ideas or inventions without fear of jeopardizing already existing projects and allows companies to use their own personal non-disclosure agreements.
ÂWe have a unique site that is positioned to become the worldwide marketplace for undiscovered ideas and inventions. WeÂve taken some unique steps at I Got Found to ensure that the site is easy, safe, fun and effective for both buyers and sellers of inventions and ideas says Chris Hallard, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
About The Company
I Got Found started when the two founders (long time friends) came up with an idea for a key chain that would automatically inflate when it fell into the water. Convinced their floating key chain idea was great and that it could make them a lot of money, the two built several prototypes and tested them. Sure enough the key chain floated.
After going through the painstaking process of filing for patents, seeking funding, and then trying to market their key chain idea, the two realized there had to be a better way to protect and promote a new idea. All the work quickly took some of the air out of their inflating key ring idea. Good idea or not, the key chain idea was sunk at least for now.
ÂEven with all my intellectual property experience, I found the process with the key chain time consuming and expensive says Montie Twining, CEO. Out of frustration, what started as an idea for a simple key chain, has led to what may well be a much bigger idea for the two friends.
As with other internet sites like eBay, Priceline and Amazon, I Got Found is poised to make a stab at how business is traditionally done. The two entrepreneurs hope the site can provide exposure to inventors with undiscovered ideas, and serve as a springboard for the formation of alliances or finding buyers that will aid users in introducing their ideas into commerce.
I Got Found is a wholly owned subsidiary of Soluble Technologies a privately held company.
