Davanac, Inc., Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a unit of the Railway Supply Group, has purchased the assets relating to the Toggle Lock gravity discharge gate from Procor Ltd., Oakville, Ontario.

BENSENVILLE, IL, FEBRUARY 28, 2003...Davanac, Inc., Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a unit of the Railway Supply Group, has purchased the assets relating to the Toggle Lock gravity discharge gate from Procor Ltd., Oakville, Ontario. The acquisition was announced by Robert S. Grandy, President of Davanacs sister company, Unity Railway Supply Co., Inc.

Were delighted to announce this acquisition," Grandy said. Since the mid-sixties the Toggle Lock outlet gate has been the gate of choice by Canadian railways and major users and shippers using covered hopper cars. Over the past 35 years, Toggle Lock gates have been applied to more than 32,000 cars."

Davanac, Inc., along with Unity Railway Supply Co., Inc., M&J Filter Corp., Industry-Railway Suppliers, Inc. and Ireco LLC, are all units of Railway Supply Group.
