Great Bear Rain Forest ~ Wilderness and cultural expeditions

Wilderness and Cultural expeditions into the world's largest intact temperate rainforest on the Central Coast of British Columbia, Canada

Over six or more days you will witness First Nation's culture in dance and festivities and experience the unique wilderness of the Great Bear Rainforest.

We seek out the rare Kermode Bear ~ the white spirit bear found only in this area. We explore remote locations where big cruise ships can't go.

This spectacular region features hidden fjords and estuaries, coastal temperate rainforests, pristine watersheds, rugged shorelines, waterfalls and steep mountain terrain.

Due to the vast islolation, sparse human settlement, and diversity of the land
there are over 6500 species of invertebrates, 160 species of birds, 400 species of fish, and more than 25 species of mammals.

After a day of exploring, return to the ship for hot showers and great west coast cuisine. Then it's time to relax and enjoy the camaraderie and savour the day's events , on deck or in the library~lounge. Enjoy spectacular sunsets anchored up in a quiet cove as we prepare for the next day's exploring expedition.

Although certified for 12 passengers, we prefer to limit the number of guests to 8 ~ 10 on this 80'(23m) quiet motorsailer, allowing for small intimate groups with lots of room and deck space. We stress Adventure with Comfort and Safety.

Our certified captain and crew have over 30 years experience exploring these waters assuring you a new experience daily!

We are friendly to the environment with a NO impact policy.
