MET Design Wins Sarabeth's Contract

New York, NY, US - 02/28/03 - MET Design, Inc., a leading integrated communications and design company in New York, has won the contract for the redesign and ecommerce development of the infamous Sarabeth's Kitchen in New York. Starting out as a tiny bakery on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 1981, Sarabeth's not only manufactures its own line of homemade pastries and jams, but also operates four restaurants in New York City.

"Customers were complaining about both the navigation and ecommerce functionality of the site," said Bill Levine, co-owner of Sarabeth's. "We will be providing Sarabeth's with a new, branded website which will have a state-of-the-art shopping cart component," states Marya Triandafellos, Founder/Creative Director of MET Design.

"Many of our manufacturing clients are finally realizing that they've got to upgrade their sites to include top-of-the line ecommerce solutions, including the integration of other business systems such as accounting, inventory, shipping/receiving and purchasing."

MET Design is planning a series of seminars commencing in April that will address the specific requirements and needs of manufacturers in the New York metropolitan area.
