DWP, DENIS WILSON PARTNERSHIP, ANNOUNCES MBO AND MD FOR TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS
Transportation engineering consultants DWP, Denis Wilson Partnership, have confirmed Graham Bignell as managing director, following a recent MBO, Management Buy-Out. The consultancy operates five regional branches -- in Bath, Birmingham, Chertsey, Manchester and Leeds - and has a turnover of nearly 6m annually in delivering traffic, transport and infrastructure design services.
DWP advises developers, retailers and other organisations on some 700 new transport and traffic-related development projects each year. Services include: feasibility studies and site appraisals; development planning, impact assessments and negotiation with planning authorities; detailed design of highway works, and associated value engineering and legal negotiation; and implementation through project planning, programming and management.
According to Graham Bignell, the MBO confirms the commitment of the DWP management team to further develop its range of transport, traffic and infrastructure design services for private and public sector clients.
Transportation and traffic issues have assumed even greater importance in the planning process, and impact directly upon the viability and profitability of new development projects. This requires considerable experience of strategic and detailed planning and design issues, which DWP has acquired over more than 20 years in developing effective solutions for challenging projects."
