Competitive Analysis Releases 22nd Quarterly Update of Oil and Gas Resources
Oil and Gas databases of Internet resources updated with new profiles.
The 22nd quarterly updates of Oil and Gas on the Internet" --Upstream and Downstream databases were released March 1 with more than 7,500 profiles of oil and gas resources on the Internet, many buried in the hidden web".
Each database provides profiles and immediate access to verified resources in 16 separate categories from crude oil and natural gas companies to current prices and industry publications to industry associations and suppliers to government agencies around the world that regulate or monitor the oil and gas industry. A separate category is devoted to those resources in the hidden web"; another is devoted to white papers" and industry studies.
"The Upstream database now contains 4,238 profiled records; the Downstream version has 3,281 profiles. Its about information and fast access to it. We do the searching, profiling, maintenance and cataloguing so our users can work more efficiently," said Bill Crowley of Competitive Analysis Technologies, publishers of the database. Most people dont know that search engines index only 1-2% of the Internet. Many of these resources are buried in what is known as the hidden web", unknown to search engines", he added.
