RIVAL TECHNOLOGIES LICENSES WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY

Rival Technologies Inc (OTCBB: RVTIF) announced today that it has licensed the rights to a wastewater treatment technology known as Water Solutions P30.

Water Solutions P30 is a unique water treatment polymer used in the process of removing pollutants from wastewater. It acts as a replacement for existing technology and is marketed as more efficient and less costly than competitive products widely in use today.

The License Agreement is with Water Solutions Inc., the owner of the technology, and Dr. J.R.H. Zhao, the inventor of the technology. Under the Agreement the Company is granted the exclusive right to sell and distribute the product for a period of 20 years within China, the United States and countries making up the European Economic Community.

Rival will focus its initial marketing efforts in China, where Water Solutions Inc. has established contacts and believes there is an immediate potential to sell P30. It is seeking contracts to build wastewater treatment facilities in China as an integral part of its plan to establish P30 in this region.
