Open Up the Magic! Experience the Pleasure! Emiko & G-spot in Concert Together!

Dont miss two of NYCs hottest Rock Divas performing on one bill, Friday March 21, 2003 at Downtime at 8:00pm.

Revolutionary Records & OA Entertainment always on the cutting edge of the latest up & coming Indies, have teamed up to present two very unique rock artists on one bill, Emiko & G-spot. This rare dual performance is not to be missed. Both Emiko & G-spots lead singer, Gail light up the stage with powerful voices, fresh provocative songs, & sexy hi-energy performances. Join them for a night of great music and see what everyone is talking about, you might even get sprinkled with special fairy dust or find some other unexpected pleasure!

G-spot offers listeners original rock power pop songs with a touch of punk and some funky grooves. Good Times Magazine recently called their live performance a climax to the evening" and described them as coming from a fantasy moment where Stevie Nicks and Exene Cervenka played in the same band." And Issues Magazine had this to say, Their musicianship is top flight. They are an excellent band with strong musical influences and diverse tastes that show up in every song! The songs are well structured & played to perfection. This is definitely a group you should check out...G-Spot has what it takes to eventually merit a Grammy and I hope they keep at it long enough for me to see that happen!" Recently they were selected to be a featured artist on Radio Crystal Blues Future Stars Segment" and also invited to showcase in the USA Songwriting Competition Showcases.

Emiko is a wild, interactive, and honest experience. Hyper and in your face as much as she is understated and haunting, Emiko's sound is big enough to fill an arena even when she is just whispering in your ear. A trained concert pianist and a two-time Songwriters Hall of Fame Showcase veteran, Emiko blazes up the stage with her funky, phat piano playing. Each of her songs is a personal journey ranging from quiet introspective moments in her lingering ballads to painfully honest trips to the land of the oversexed, overdosed, and overexposed, in her rock songs. Emiko has appeared in Billboard Magazine and her record "Here Lies Tinkerbell" was number 1 on the New Century Music Heat-seeker's Chart in November, 2002. She was also number 11 on the New Century Music Best Artists of 2002 Review. The Washington Post calls Emiko, cathartic and catchy.... raw rock!!!!" and MTV says that she "sucks you in! She totally sucks you in!!!"

The show begins at 8:00pm sharp, doors open at 7:30pm and admission is $10.00. Downtime is located at 251 W. 30th St (bet 7th & 8th Aves.), NYC.
