KARATE KIDZ ONLINE FINAL CHOICES FOR MARCH 2003

March 1, 2003, New York, California , Karate Kidz Online made their Final choices for both the KKO Teacher Spotlight and the KKO Student Spotlight for March 2003. We at Karate Kidz Online continue to strive to bring our vistors the most dedicated and talented martial artist worldwide each month.

Congratulations to the instructors of the Parker Academy of Martial Arts from Parker, Colorado, Mr. Rob Roy McKinney 2nd degree black belt, Mrs. Linda Wickes 2nd degree black belt, Mr. Fred Longmore 2nd degree black belt, and Mr. Kraig Monteferrante 2nd degree black belt, for being chosen as the teachers to be spotlighted for March 2003. This is the first time in KKO history that we chose to spotlight a group of instructors from one school but this time it was fitting. The Parker Academy of Martial Arts sets a good example for the youth of martial arts and give them the training neccessary to build character and self esteem, they have produced some fine young martial artist and I'm sure will continue to do so in the future. They are our choices for March 2003.

We have also made our final choices for the Student Spotlight as well, congratulations to Wayne Dalglish, At just eleven years old, Wayne Dalglish is not only a world champion martial artist, but also a film and television actor. Trained by some of the best martial artists in the country like Casey Marks, Mike Chatarauntabut, and Suzanne Wankett, Wayne has won numerous world titles, has appeared on the ESPN2 broadcast of the US Open for four straight years, has been featured in Black Belt Magazine, and was selected for the prestigious Team Paul Mitchell at age 9. After several successful years making a name for himself on the national sport karate circuit, even starring in his own series of instructional videos on the bo staff, Wayne recently made the move out to L.A. to start acting. He has quickly found success, landing a television guest role, a role in a feature film, and most recently, a starring role in the new Frito Lay Star Wars commercial. He is our choice for March 2003.

As of January 30, 2003 all Teachers and Students spotlighted on Karate Kidz Online will have an opportunity to be chosen as the Teacher and Student of the year. Thanks to the generosity of the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society , On July 12, 2003 in Las Vegas Nevada we will be honoring those Teachers and Students that were chosen in 2002. This will be part of the Action Packed weekend presented by the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society and they have allowed Karate Kidz Online to have our choices for Teachers and Student of the year recorded in the "International Martial Arts Hall of Fame". Which means that all of those honored by Karate Kidz Online will be inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame under the category Karate Kidz Online Student and Karate Kidz Online Teacher of the Year.
