NEW ZEALAND SINGER-SONGWRITER-GUITARIST MIKE BROSNAN TO RELEASE NEW CD

The New Zealand singer-songwriter-guitarist and acoustic music troubadour Mike Brosnan will release his new CD, titled "Wasted Time" throughout Germany on Monday 31 March 2003. This release will be on the German label Flying Kiwi Records, label president Henriette Guth announced today.

The New Zealand singer-songwriter-guitarist and acoustic music troubadour Mike Brosnan will release his new CD throughout Germany on Monday 31 March 2003. This release will be on the German label Flying Kiwi Records, label president Henriette Guth announced today.

The new CD, titled Wasted Time" was recorded in both New Zealand and Germany. This project features eleven original Brosnan compositions and has already received considerable critical acclaim.

Im excited about this release," Brosnan said at a recent Bonn press conference. It signifies that singer-songwriter albums are experiencing a resurgence in popularity amongst the mainstream music community."

Andreas (Recky) Reck, producer of Wasted Time" shares his excitement about this release. "Mike Brosnans lyrics are deep and real, and his voice is so believable. And he is backed on this project by premier musicians from New Zealand, Germany and Austria, including Silver Scroll winner Wayne Mason on keyboards."

Gifted with vocal, guitar, keyboard, and writing talents, Brosnan began his music career when he began studying piano at age five. He began writing music at age nineteen. Since 1992 Brosnan has successively toured the world performing his special brand of acoustic rock. He will be touring German extensively over the next few months to support this release.
