Roberts Publishing, a small publishing firm headed by Dr. Kelly Roberts, has released WHERE THE BODIES LIE BURIED, the first mystery novel written by Nashville author, Robin Minnick. Available by direct order online (http://www.robertspublishing.com), the book introduces readers to Dr. Mackenzie Russell Wilder and Lt. Bryan Jamison.
On return to her hometown, Mackenzie Wilder discovers that going home can be difficult in unexpected ways. Skeletons are discovered on the family farm she has repurchased, and the police assume her father had something to do with them being there. Harassing materials turn up at her office and home, urging her to leave town before she's even settled in. But Mackenzie would rather stay and prove herself as a physician, prove her father's innocence, and test the depths of her friendship with Bryan Jamison. WHERE THE BODIES LIE BURIED is an American cozy set in fictional Kings Hill, N.Y. It offers insight into the often-irritating complexities of small-town living as Mackenzie tries to deal with her problems while surrounded by former schoolmates, her father's critics, and well-meaning if nosy 'neighbor ladies'.
The author, Robin Minnick, has lived in Nashville for twenty years with her husband and their six children. She has written for local and national magazines and conducts workshops in writing at her children's schools.
