Local Girl Makes Cinderella Dream Come True

Dr. Rev. Patty Hansen goes from small town girl to Being On Television, Writing A Book, and becoming the Next Big Entrepeneur!!!

(PRWEB) March 8, 2003 -Patty Hansen, formerly Patty Sellers, a professional business owner and wife of Mitchell Hansen, has started a national wedding planning firm offering others the opportunity to join in the 42 billion dollar wedding industry.

Patty Hansen is the owner of A Marry Angel, Inc., which is located in Raleigh, NC and Sausalito, CA, and is considered a National Wedding Association . . . It definitely is a Cinderella job." Dr. Hansen states.

Dr. Hansen has a BS in Business Administration , Continuing Education in Family Law, Association of Arts in Public Service, Masters of Arts in Theology and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Religious Studies. She is also certified in Wedding Planning and Directing. Reverend Hansen has been ordained to minister weddings throughout the United States. Patty is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Association of Bridal Consultants, the Web Chamber of Commerce, DAR, and the International Chaplains Association.    

Dr. Hansen is also a wedding expert on ForeverWed.com and the WeddingPalace.com. She answers brides questions for both websites. Ms. Hansens first book, The Little Wedding Handbook for Brides and Grooms, (LuLu Publishing) is scheduled for release February 23, 2003. She is scheduled to do a book signing at Books-A-Million across the state of SC starting with Florence, SC on April 5, 2003.

Dr. Hansen is scheduled to tape a show with Dr. Phil in six weeks for a premier they are doing about helping young women. The show will be aired sometime in May from Los Angeles. Dr. Hansen just recently started the Marry Angel Wedding Association, which is a Nationwide Certification Program, so that others may join in on the wedding industry. Patty states: I want others to have an opportunity to pursue their dreams, and hopefully I will be able to help them accomplish that dream." Patty also works with interns from across the country to help them decide if being a business owner is for them.

I could not have accomplished my dreams had it not been for my husband, Mitchell, my parents, David and Helen Sellers, and the support of my clients" stated Dr. Hansen. She hopes to open an office around Florence and Columbia, SC in the near future.

Patty is currently working on another book that will include wedding planning in the Southern States. She states, I always wanted to own my own business and now I have realized, the sky is the limit". Patty is a busy wife, mother, and daughter....she travels a lot to and from NC to CA on business. She remembers her hometown Florence, SC and hopes to start another company there in the near future. She will also be traveling around South Carolina talking to local schools about entrepreneurship.

Patty has been asked to write an article for USA today and is being considered for inspiring entrepreneurs magazine. She speaks at local schools and offers job shadowing to help future graduates decide if being a business owner or consultant is their desire.
