Venetian Interactive Granted Internet Gaming License

LAS VEGAS -- V.I. Ltd., a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Inc., the parent company of The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas, has been awarded an Interactive Gaming License and an Electronic Betting Center License by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. V.I. Ltd. will conduct its Internet gaming activities under the name Venetian Interactive in affiliation with its partner SSP Gaming, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of SSP Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq:SSPX), a top-level Internet security company based in Irvine, Calif.

"We have a tremendous amount of respect for the regulators in Alderney. We have not yet finalized our plans for our operations in Alderney, but hope to do so within the next several months," Friedman added.
