Internet Methods, Inc. Appoints EVP & President of Global Banking Services Group

Internet Methods, Inc. (iMethods) today announced that it has expanded its management team appointing Chris Close as Executive Vice President & President of its Global Banking Services Group.

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona. -- March 7, 2003 -- Internet Methods, Inc. (iMethods) today announced that it has expanded its management team appointing Chris Close as Executive Vice President & President of its Global Banking Services Group. In this position Chris will strategically focus on the implementation of iMethods global banking initiatives.

Mr. Close was with J.P. Morgan in New York where he was responsible for international investment managers in the foreign exchange (FX) division. Mr. Close will be directing the companys currency trading and settlement, interest rate arbitrage and international banking relationships. He will also assist the company through his continuing role on the Financial Advisory Board for financial product development and investment opportunity matters. Prior to J.P. Morgan Chris was with KeyCorp, where as Senior Vice President and Head of Institutional Foreign Exchange he created a profitable foreign exchange business unit and advised over 5,000 trading clients. Mr. Close is an internationally known and sought after speaker and writer on international foreign currency and exchange matters. . Prior to moving to the US in 1993, he worked for Citibank and Barclays Bank in the United Kingdom, Belgium, France and Germany. He is fluent in several foreign languages, including French and German. He received a Masters Degree at The University of Dundee, Scotland in 1986 and is NASD certified.

iMethods is excited about having Chris join the iMethods team. His background in international banking will complement the overall management team members in providing iMethods with the leadership in global banking services it has implemented within its iMethods Service Access Process engine. Chris will be very instrumental in the comprehensive global market strategic plans of iMethods. Chris has participated on iMethods Finance Advisory Board for the past six months.
