QThink Expands Capabilities with Synopsys Multi-Year Tool Deal

QThink has signed a multi-year agreement with Synopsys, Inc., significantly extending the companies current agreement and giving QThink access to multiple licenses of advanced EDA tools such as Physical Compiler, Astro, and Primetime-SI, some of the key components of the Galaxy Design Platform.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 6, 2003 -- QuantumThink Group, Inc. (QThink®), the leading pure-play IC design services company, announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Synopsys, Inc. [Nasdaq:SNPS], significantly extending the companies current agreement and giving QThink access to multiple licenses of advanced EDA tools such as Physical Compiler, Astro, and Primetime-SI, some of the key components of the
Galaxy Design Platform. The agreement also provides QThink the option of adding additional tools as needed and earliest access opportunities to future technology. This latest acquisition offers a total solution to clients who require the use of Synopsys tools in their design flows.
