ESSEX, United Kingdom, March 13, 2003 -- Cool Focus International (trading as CFi) today announced the release of ShellToys XP v3.0, the latest version of its award-winning suite of shell extensions for Microsoft Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP operating systems. This innovative collection of power tools fills many of the gaps in Windows, adding 38 new utilities that PC users will turn to over and over again each day.

The majority of ShellToys XP's features install unobtrusively to a new sub-menu on Windows context-menus. Simply right-click files, folders, the folder background or the desktop to use tools that include:

• Jump instantly to any folder • Select files with matching extensions • Copy paths to clipboard • Add files or folders to the Send To menu • Browse and print images • Print folder listing • Open command prompt • Change file dates • Change extension • Encrypt, shred or split files • Copy or move files and folders • and many more.

Some ShellToys XP tools are shown only when a particular type or combination of items is selected. For example:

• Select multiple files to rename as a batch • Select an image file to preview right on the menu • Select an MP3 file to view or edit its tag information • Select ICO, EXE or DLL files to browse, extract or convert their icons • Select a folder, zip archive or cabinet file to view and access its contents on a submenu • Select a shortcut or Internet shortcut to view its target • and more.

The same tools are even available in Open and Save dialogs, putting the full power of ShellToys XP at your fingertips, whatever you're doing.

ShellToys XP also provides extra non-menu-based tools, including desktop-icon position save and restore; drag-and-drop zip and cabinet extraction; extended clipboard utility; easy management of items on the Send To menu; and extended text search-and-replace, among others.

Any unwanted ShellToys XP tools and features can be switched off, and your most-used tools can be moved to the main part of the context-menu for even faster access.
