Work by Nashville Artist Camille Engel Wins Place in International Exhibition in New York
Red Apple on Green Napkin," a painting in oil on stretched canvas by artist Camille Engel of Nashville, TN has been selected for inclusion in the annual international juried exhibition Realism 2003" at the Stage Gallery in Merrick, New York.

Her selection for this event was especially significant since this piece was one of only twenty-five works selected from among thousands of slide entries from throughout the world. The exhibition displays realistic works in all media, including oils, watercolors, prints, mixed media pieces, wall sculptures, and photography. Works were selected and juried by E. Lynne Moss, Senior Editor, American Artist magazine.
The exhibition will run through April 13. An artists reception open to the public will be held on that day from 6-8 pm. The gallery is located in the Stage Theater building at 2222 Hewlett Avenue in Merrick, with its entrance on Sunrise Highway directly beneath the Merrick Long Island Railroad Station, about 35 minutes from Manhattan.
