Marketingbytes Strategic Communications Inc. has taken ownership of Photosphere Ltd., and its royalty free image site, www.photosphere.com. Allen Haslinger, the founder of photosphere.com has returned as the new President.
Effective January 15th, 2003, Marketingbytes Strategic Communications Inc. has taken ownership of Photosphere Ltd., and its royalty free image site, www.photosphere.com. Allen Haslinger, the founder of photosphere.com has returned as the new President.
Marketingbytes Strategic Communications Inc., an e-marketing consultancy that provides its clients with strategic advice for the implementation of their e-marketing and e-business initiatives. The purchase of Photosphere fits the long-term strategy of owning and developing frontline e-commerce properties.
Photosphere has been licensing premium royalty free images on CD since 1994, and processing single image transactions on its web site since 1996. Photosphere has a general library of images focusing on people in lifestyle and business, travel imagery, and landscape and nature scenics.
Allen Haslinger, the founder of photosphere.com and President of Marketingbytes, is pleased with the pace of changes that Photosphere is undergoing. Im excited to be back at Photosphere and look forward to revitalizing the company. As we move the company forward we will be examining prospective strategic alliances and exploring a number of avenues for bringing additional growth. Haslinger brings more that 15 years of marketing and e-business experience to Photosphere. A roaming 'Mr. Fix-it, since leaving Photosphere in 1997, Haslinger has worked for companies experiencing intensive growth as VP Internet Marketing, VP Marketing, and a Director of Project Management. Trained as photographer, and a former stock photo contributor, Haslinger is well suited to drive Photospheres expansion. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Photographic Arts) from Ryerson University, Toronto.
