CyberSecurity Conference

A Northeast conference on CyberSecurity issues will be held on April 25 at Norwalk Community College in Norwalk, Conn. Topics include cyber crime and terrorism, privacy issues, war chalking and security challenges to corporations.

Cyber crime is on the rise. It's an issue of local and national importance and even threatens homeland security. Lack of computer security presents one of today's hidden risks to business.

Norwalk Community College (in Norwalk, Conn.), a leader in cyber security initiatives, is doing its best to take a "byte" out of cyber crime.

NCC will hold the second annual CyberSecurity Conference on April 25. It features nationally renowned speakers from the FBI, Cisco Systems, Aetna,and the Conn. Dept of Public Safety Computer Crimes Unit discussing topics ranging from war chalking and cyber crime to privacy issues, dynamic key generation, security awareness programs for corporations,that depend on Information Technology to generate revenue case studies of real cyber crimes, and the potential devastation that cyber terrorists could wreak on the U.S. with little cost or effort.
