Moonlight Teams up with InfoValue to Advance Video Streaming Solutions

Moonlight’s Elecard Decoder can be coupled with the Moonlight SharkImage MPEG-2 Encoder, which features low bit rates and normal to lower frame rates, to provide the highest quality solution on the market.

Moonlight’s SharkImage MPEG-2 encoder is the first encoder of a family of three encoders to be launched by Moonlight during Q1 2003.

The SharkImage encoder is aimed at broadcast quality streaming and authoring applications. The other two family members include: the Barracuda, which is aimed towards professional video encoding, and the Piranha, which is for the consumer OEM market.

All three versions use Moonlight’s unique Motion Estimation and Rate Control patented (pending) technologies.
