SiteScape® Hires Managing Director for Europe and Opens European Headquarters

Pim Brouwer brings valuable knowledge and strategic expertise to SiteScapes business development in Europe

Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Maynard, Mass. (PRWEB) March 15, 2003 - SiteScape®, a major Web-based enterprise collaboration platform provider, today announced that Pim Brouwer has joined SiteScape as Managing Director for Europe and that the company has opened European headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Brouwer will oversee all of SiteScapes operations in Europe, including direct sales, channel business partners, marketing and logistics.

The European office will house marketing, sales and support personnel, enabling SiteScape to meet the growing local demand for its collaboration and knowledge management software: SiteScape Enterprise Forum; Forum eMeeting, real-time Web conferencing software; and Forum Program Management. SiteScape Europe will focus on expand its customer base across the Global 2000 and mid-market companies, and on providing highly responsive technical and sales support.

Brouwer comes to SiteScape from OpenText where he spent two years as the director of Partner Programs for Europe and Africa. In this role, he was responsible for developing and coordinating partner programs in synchronization with North American operations, and for bringing partner applications to market as extended offerings of Open Texts product line. Prior to Open Text, he was the European business development director for Maritz Corporation, charged with managing and developing Pan-European projects for organizations with European Headquarters.

Brouwer was also employed as regional sales manager for Northern Europe for FileNET Corporation. At FileNet he was responsible for the overall positioning of FileNET software products in the Benelux and Nordic regions. In addition, he set up a subsidiary in Stockholm to recruit Nordic sales and pre-sales staff to manage partners and large accounts. Brouwer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and has a Masters in marketing.
