FrogPad, Inc. Will Unveil and Demonstrate Unique One-Handed Mobile Keyboard at CTIA Wireless 2003

Press conference scheduled for March 19 at 11am in Room 253 at CTIA conference in New Orleans. FrogPad CEO Linda Marroquin will demonstrate technology, which is designed to set a new standard in mobile computing and mobile communications.

WHAT: FrogPad, Inc., an innovator in data entry for mobile computing and communication devices, will this week debut and demonstrate a bold new keyboard design that is perfectly suited for mobile data entry applications and such consumer applications as short messaging on small wireless devices.

The FrogPad keyboard is a 3" x 3" mobile device that fits in one hand and features 15 full-size keys that take the place of a traditional QWERTY keyboard. Learning to use the device takes only minutes. Plans are to license the design as an embedded user interface (UI) to wireless device manufacturers, as well as offer the keyboard as a plug-in accessory to current mobile systems.

WHY: Traditional QWERTY keyboards are too large and bulky, while the small keyboards available on most mobile phones and devices are only suitable for 'hunt and peck input, and are not a comfortable alternative for mobile messaging. The FrogPad design overcomes these inherent problems by incorporating the 15 'most used keys of a keyboard, as well as an easy-to-learn routine for mobile input. The result is a data entry alternative that is much better than current 'thumb devices, and a viable solution for mobile workers and consumers.

FrogPad simply is the new mobile keyboard standard for fast, easy and accessible data entry," asserts Linda Marroquin, FrogPads CEO and President. We have tested the device in a variety of applications, and we know that its easier and faster to learn to type on the FrogPad than on a standard QWERTY keyboard, and we know that it offers more possibilities for mobile computing."

                     ****

WHERE: The FrogPad keyboard will be demonstrated this week at CTIA as a part of the Worlds Smallest Film Festival" on March 18, 2003, and featured at Booth 1056 on the CTIA exhibit floor. FrogPad representatives will be available to demonstrate the FrogPad keyboards for attendees and members of the press.

Press representatives can also submit a request for review units following the March 19 press conference in Room 253, allowing them to 'test drive' the FrogPad keyboard in the real world.
