On Pet Appreciation Day", we are encouraged to spend quality time with our pets, by doing with them what they love to do best. Everyone is requested to have fun with his or her pet, whether its chasing a ball at the park, going on a long walk, or playing in the pool. Here is the opportunity to celebrate the other family member who needs to be appreciated, too.
When were consumed with the times we live in and the world at large, our pets may have a tendency to be overlooked, neglected or forgotten. Our animals are precious, and their love grounds us and reminds us to be happy for simple pleasures. For the times we are down they know, they sense, and they are there for us by our side, and they ask for nothing from us but our love and appreciation. Our pets are always happy to see us and never hesitate expressing feelings of joy each day, all year long in their own individual way. It is for these reasons that this special day was created.
Coinciding with this years Pet Appreciation Day" is the Mackies Parlour 2nd Annual Spring Pet Party", which takes place at the Hilton Village, from 12-3PM. Making an encore appearance is the Easter Bunny, who will available for photos with pets for a $15 donation. Proceeds will benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League. Everyone is encouraged to dress themselves and their pet for the occasion in Spring/Easter attire. Please RSVP to Mackies Parlour at (480) 991-7600.
