NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Mar. 17, 2003 -- LinkPro Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of Data Availability and Protection Software, today confirmed the general availability of IPReplicatorä for Windows NT/2000. IPReplicator enables organizations to backup, protect, recover, distribute and share files - Globally. IPReplicator does this by providing secure, reliable, real-time and scheduled, file replication over TCP/IP based LANs, WANs and the Internet.

This is the first in a new family of products designed with JAVA to deliver multi-platform High Data Availability and Protection for global enterprise servers over TCP/IP networks. Plans are in place for a future Linux/Unix compatible release.

According to Frank Reinhart, company president, the problem being solved is the very costly interruptions to business due to the loss of data caused by human error, equipment failure or a disaster."

Today this problem is only partially solved in many businesses. For example: (1) data recovery from magnetic tape backups are relatively slow by todays standards, (2) organizational connectivity can be limited by private wide area networks, and (3) heterogeneous system data protection and availability may not be implemented or is likely limited."

IPReplicator has the following value proposition: At 1/3 the price, it delivers the required core features plus 2/3 of the advanced features of its major competitors making it a very cost effective solution for those organizations having a large number of servers connected by TCP/IP networks." he said.

IPReplicator is an effective tool for network administrators who are responsible for ensuring that mission critical data is protected and available throughout their geographically dispersed operations. LinkPros ten years of experience in the design and marketing of data synchronization and replication products were utilized in the creation of IPReplicator.
