TJT Films introduces CYBERSLATE TV to "The System Within" website

TJT Films to use internet as a tool to discover undiscovered talent 24/7

New York, NY, March 17, 2003: After completing a 40 city search to discover new talent for casting in the upcoming urban drama "The System Within" that culmulated in final callbacks at the Apollo Theater Harlem NY on February 7-8, 2003, the casting directors and executive producers were astonished with the wealth of untapped talent in areas far away from the usual talent pools of New York and Los Angeles. "We have to do something so the industry can see what we saw on the road. There are too many wonderfully talented people that no one will ever see", said executive producer Tariq Alexander-Bay.

Always on the lookout for innovative ideas TJTs executive staff brainstormed and came up with the idea of CYBERSLATING TV. For a minimal fee, actors, singers, dancers, and models can now post their bios, headshots and a three minute audition tape on www.thesystemwithin.com. The use of a internet audition live 24/7 is as unique an idea as the talent search. TJT is presently in the process of securing agreements from industry casting directors, agents, record companies, entertainment attorneys and other seasoned industry professional to use "The System Within" website as a place they will use to scout talent. Veteran casting director Mike Fenton (E.T., Chinatown, The Godfather, Total Recall) and entertainment attorney Melanie Sims-Franks are among the first to commit to this innovative use of the internet.

As Tariq said, "Our aim is not to be a talent agent, there are wonderful people who do that already.     Our goal is to be a link between a talented person who may not have the means to travel to major entertainment centers with those who can help them. At the same time, we can see who's out there for TJTs future film projects. It's tough on the road. Actually it's a win win situation for everyone."
