March 18, 2003 - Dogwood Publishing announces the release of "Best Friend, God" by author Jack Prather. It will be available for order on May 1.

"Best Friend, God" addresses the Christian fallacy that we are all sinners. Mr. Prather shares how he learned to let go of his feelings of guilt and fear by learning to talk with God in a functional format instead of talking to him.

Prather says, "Most people cannot fully experience the presence of God's power within themselves because they feel they are sinners and therefore not worthy of God's love."

Prather is a product of several small towns in Alabama. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn. He has also lived in Port Arthur, Texas. He is now a resident of Mobile, Alabama. Dogwood Publishing also published Prather's first book, "Coosa".
