SetFocus, a Technology Training Center, specializing in the education of developers in the areas of VB.NET and C#.NET, continues to successfully grow high quality .NET developers for IT companies nationwide.

Since 1997, SetFocus trained over 350 developers, helping them re-tool in the latest technologies, most recently in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, COM+, and XML WebServices. In addition, students are preparing for and passing the exams necessary to attain their MCAD and MCSD.NET certification status. SetFocus' Career Development Services department works on facilitating relationships with companies both locally and nationally, introducing them to the .NET Talent Pool SetFocus has developed. President and CEO Mike Landau states, "Our no-fee placement program allows us flexibility, when trying to connect recent graduates from our program with companies that need highly skilled individuals in a tight market. In addition, we have been finding that with our no-fee structure more and more clients are now coming to us to fill their programmer needs rather than going to the job boards on the web."

Companies such as Merck, Synergy Technologies, Agile Technologies, and Bernard Hodes Group have grown to rely on SetFocus providing them with a group of qualified and certified developers to choose from.. Microsoft Corporation's NJ / NY .NET Manager, John Frayne, states, "SetFocus is committed to the Development and Career Planning of IT professionals. They look to build, improve or refine their skills so they can succeed in an ever changing technology world."

SetFocus' specialized selection process includes on-line assessments and intensive technical interviews with their trainers / developers to assure they possess the abilities to complete the 13 weeks of knowledge transfer. This process ensures high quality individuals who are always able to add value to an organization from day one. SetFocus receives from 1500-2000 applications to the program each quarter and selects no more than 18 individuals per track.

The training at SetFocus challenges all. Both the VB.NET and C#.NET curriculums are designed to challenge every student. Intense lectures combined with in depth lab exercises focus on n-tier applications with special emphasis on web development.

SetFocus has a talent pool of .NET developers ready to start immediately. Click here to visit our .NET Talent Pool . SetFocus runs sessions on a quarterly basis.
