GI Long Distance to Support US Troops

GI Long Distance offers consumers the ability to support US troops while saving money. 10% of all profits are donated to the American Red Cross, Military Emergency Financial Assistance Program.

Easley, SC, March 20, 2003 -- LD Wiz long distance service has just released a new site benefiting military personnel and their immediate families in their times of need.

GI Long Distance, http://GILongDistance.com, will be donating 10% of all profits from the site to the Military Financial Assistance Program on a residual basis for the life of each customer.

The site offers discounted 3.9 cents per minute state to state rates while offering low intrastate and international rates as well.

GI Long Distance will benefit the same brave men and women who defend our most basic human rights and permit us to remain free.

As a whole, most of us wait until something happens to assist those in need. GI Long Distance will continue donating 10% to military families during times of peace or crisis.

The monies go towards financial assistance for emergency travel which requires the presence of a service member, his or her family, burial of a loved one, with assistance of food, temporary lodging, urgent medical needs, or the minimum amount required to avoid eviction, utility shut off, etc.
