Elsinore Technologies, Inc., developer of the Visual Intercept enterprise issue management platform for managing the planned tasks and unexpected events (issues) associated with work, announced today that it has partnered with ReleaseTEAM, a firm that specializes in configuration management solutions, to develop integrations between best-of-breed change management systems and Visual Intercept. The two companies have developed an integration between Visual Intercept and Rational ClearCase®, a software artifact management tool, to create a seamless and comprehensive defect tracking and software configuration management solution.

The two companies have developed an integration between Visual Intercept and Rational ClearCase®, a software artifact management tool, to create a seamless and comprehensive defect tracking and software configuration management solution. The integration gives development teams a common view of all incidents across tools, and change sets, enhancement requests and coding issues are tracked between Rational ClearCase and Elsinore Visual Intercept. This integration provides several significant features and benefits, including: out-of-the box installation through Visual Intercept; native integration for superior performance and functionality; a customizable template that enables users to define what attributes are recorded in Visual Intercept and ClearCase; the ability to track and manage all software incidents in Visual Intercept's best-of-breed system; and the ability to enable Rational's Unified Change Management process.

The Rational ClearCase integration was completed using the Visual Intercept Software Development Kit (SDK).
