Datamatix GCC e-Government Forum to highlight on suitable HR Strategies

Dubai UAE (March 20th 2003): On May 13th 2003, Datamatix organizes a one day session on Human Resource Strategies for GCC e-Governments" as part of the Ninth GCC e-Government, Telecom and Internet Forum. The forum is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum Chairman, Dubai Technology, Electronic Commerce and Media Free Zone Authority

The one day session highlights successful human resource strategies that can match the rapid technological improvements and e-government initiatives of the GCC. The regional organizations require high-performing employees who can problem-solve, work in teams, and adapt to changes in technology and work processes. Latest studies show that employees who lack basic skills in reading, math and communication inhibit an organization's ability to compete.

Key speakers from the region and abroad will share their knowledge and expertise on how to overcome these limitations by implementing real strategies and solutions that will take care of the present requirement and build future skills.

Some 200 top professionals from various GCC Human resource departments and other related government and private organizations will assemble for the session; these will include Senior Human resource managers, HR consultants, Placement agents, HR Software Solution providers, Resellers etc...

Ali Al Kamali, organizer and Managing Director of Datamatix says Here, we are taking the opportunity to explore some of the Human Resource, as it is widely acknowledged that e-government implementation in the region will be more related to a cultural change than an information technology one. Cultural change, will involve people. Various research and studies has clearly shown that the effectiveness of our efforts is dependent upon how well the GCC nationals are prepared for the change and how well they receive it".
