EAP-TTLS CLIENT OF ALFA & ARISS AS FREEWARE ON ALFA-ARISS.COM

As from today the EAP-TTLS Client of Alfa & Ariss can be downloaded for free from alfa-ariss.com. This has been decided upon in order to encourage the use of 802.1x worldwide to its full extent.

SecureW2, the EAP-TTLS Client for Windows 802.1X enables the use of EAP-TTLS using the standard Microsoft IEEE 802.1X Client currently available for Windows 2000 and XP. SecureW2 gives users the means of connecting to 802.1X enabled networks in a secure and convenient way. With the SecureW2 Client WLAN access is finally secure and easy enough for enterprises to begin widespread deployment.

Alfa & Ariss has strong belief in EAP-TTLS as the best and most practical authentication protocol that runs on 802.1X. Currently over 50,000 users have already embraced the EAP-TTLS Client and use it. Alfa & Ariss is of the opinion that everyone, wherever in the world, has the right to secure both their wireless and wired networks in a solid way. By making version 1.0 available as freeware for the entire world we give everyone this opportunity", according to Tom Rixom, Wireless Security Programme Manager at Alfa & Ariss.

Naturally Alfa & Ariss also offers a Support Programme on the Client, for more information check www.alfa-ariss.com.
