Between 1998 and 2001, the Group channelled almost 3 million Euros into social and cultural programs. Emiliani: "Constant commitment to health and the environment".
During 2002 the http://www.sacmi.com">Sacmi Group donated more than 1.3 million Euros to charity. In particular 1,138,000 euros was donated to health services in the Imola area (the parent companys home town) and in other places both in Italy and abroad: for example, a substantial sum was granted for the new site of the http://www.antnet.it/">National Tumour Association in Bologna. Moreover, more than 193,000 euros was, over the year, given to associations and projects of a social and cultural nature.
The Sacmi Group, consisting of over 60 companies based all over the world, is the worlds leading producer of machines and complete plants for the ceramics and packaging industries, with 3320 employees, total sales of over 830 million Euros (2002) and an export quota of around 80%.
