Novel Knit Inc. announces net sales increase of 28% year to year despite industry downturn.

Even though it faces intense overseas competition, Novel Knit, a knitting mill founded in 1965, has managed to remain profitable.

Despite a brutal downturn in the knitting industry in the USA, Novel Knit has managed to remain not only profitable but has increased its net sales year to year by 28%.

A manufacturer of lace, novelty fabrics, and fire-retardant blankets, Novel Knit is looking forward to another successful year in 2003. While other knitters are struggling or shutting down, Novel Knit is ramping up production.

Company president Michel Robert Abood attributes the company's success to the hard work of its employees and the loyalty of its customers and suppliers. Even though the manufacturing industry has lost tens of thousands of jobs in the past 3 years, Novel has continued to grow carefully.
