Hollywood Libertarian to Create Talent Pool for Freedom-Oriented Productions

Libertarian to give last bastion of liberalism a run for its money.

Self-proclaimed Multi-Media Mogul, Edward Bowers, initiated the formation of FLICC (Freedom Loving Individuals Creating Content), a talent pool for upcoming media projects in the Los Angeles area. He unveiled the effort on Monday, St. Patrick's Day, by putting up a webpage (http://homepage.mac.com/ebowers/flicc.html) that declares, "Libertarians Actors Unite!" He then went on the point out that the network of show business resources will include everyone from directors to musicians and from special effects artists to film and video editors.

If websurfers go to http://homepage.mac.com/ebowers/iMovieTheater1.html they will find an early PSA that is more than just parody. Mr. Bowers had been wanting to take another crack at doing a Cable Access show. It would include skits and thus would need actors. And it occured to him that there must be some with a libertarian bent in the LA area who have yet to make it big. He thought why not give them first dibs before the general out-of-work actor. Of course there would be no pay involved in the early going but it could be quite rewarding. He thought he might get the word out to satisfy his need and on top of that just build a talent pool that might do other projects, including more commercial ones.
