LineFusion announced today the launch of JustYak Chat, its mobile Instant Messaging service on Motorola, Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson mobile handsets

JustYak Chat Mobile Instant Messaging is an application that enables Instant Messaging Service for mobile users using Java-enabled mobile phones and General Packet Data Radio Service (GPRS) networks.

JustYak Chat brings the popular Internet Instant Massaging to the mobile world. It allows mobile- to-mobile and mobile-to-PC messaging. Unlike WAP messaging, you know the presence of your buddies and receive instant messages without the need to refresh the screen," said Cheong Hon Kee, Managing Director of LineFusion. JustYak Chat is probably the only mobile instant messaging service able to support major brands including Motorola, Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson."

JustYak Chat supports Motorola T720/T720i, Motorola A388/A6288, Nokia 7650, Siemens S55/S56/S57 and Sony Ericsson P800. More Java-enabled phones will be supported when they are available. Some of the new models soon to be launched are Nokia 6800 & 3650 and Motorola 388C.

Users could send text messages from their mobile phones to their Internet Instant Messaging buddies on ICQ®, MSN® Messenger and Yahoo® Messenger. Users could also join mobile public chat rooms and even create their own chat rooms.
