Diamond IP Technologies announces the General Availability of ImageControl Version 2.0, the premier solution to manage and update the firmware in DOCSIS compliant devices.

Exton, Pennsylvania -- Diamond IP Technologies announces the General Availability of ImageControl Version 2.0, the premier solution to manage and update the firmware in DOCSIS compliant devices. With this new release, ImageControl adds the ability to securely download DOCSIS firmware images to DOCSIS 1.1 devices, using SNMPv3 and the secure file download mechanism defined in the DOCSIS 1.1 standards specification.

Other solutions merge the firmware upgrade process with cable modem provisioning. ImageControl, on the other hand, operates independently of provisioning, making it an operations tool that provides unparalleled control and reporting to Cable Operators, without the overhead of maintaining mountains of configuration data.
