New York, NY - On April 5, 2003 at Walker Stage in New York City, Felisha Booker, best known for The Ear To Da Streets Music Conference, unites today's hitmakers with aspiring music producers in her Spring Producer's Seminar. This event will include a songwriters' panel, entitled Fusion: When Lyric & Melody MEET Track, a real life publishing skit: The Story of Rick T. Hitz and an R&B, Hip Hop and Remix demo Session.

The Producer's Seminar will consist of some of the best producers and writers in the Hip Hip & R&B industry. KayGee, Chucky Thompson, CarMul (Carvin Haggins/Ivan Barias), Gordon Chambers, No I.D., Rasheem "Kilo" Pugh, Quincy Patrick, 88 Keys, Nottz, Bosko, Ron Browse, Kwame, Tyrone "Ty" Fyfe, Patrick Gordon Chambers, DJ Shok and Fury, just to name a few will all be on hand to help the aspiring producer further develop their craft by sharing their techniques on how to get the best results possible creatively and from a music business perspective. Many of the attendees will also have the opportunity to play their music for A&R executives from Arista, Warner Brothers, Jive, Universal, The Royalty Network, Spirit Music Group, Murder Inc., MCA, and Desert Storm for consideration in upcoming projects. "Ear To Da Streets is the only organization that supports the needs and wants of music producers influenced by the Hip-Hop and R&B culture," said Booker. "Ear To Da Streets is so necessary because producers create the trends and define the direction of popular music today."

Creativity, talent, expertise and experience are what add to the "fire" of the seminar. One on one contact and feedback for aspiring hitmakers of music makes the experience both exciting and informative for those who are lovers of the craft.

Ear To Da Streets also acknowledges the importance of community. This spring seminar will also include a charity equipment drive where monetary and equipment donations will benefit Better Youth. Better Youth is a non profit organization which offers an after school program called Building Blocks, that is geared toward introducing students to various art forms and professions; building self-confidence and self-esteem.

ABOUT EAR TO DA STREETS
Ear To Da Streets is just one fraction of the Booker Empire. It is the first institution to aggressively emerge in the entertainment industry with a specialized concentration geared toward music producers, especially those influenced by the Hip-Hop and R&B culture. Built from the ground up, Ear To Da Streets went to "da streets" to build a faithful audience of over 700 aspiring producers, artists, and executives. Many of the industry's most respected powerbrokers have attended and continue to lend their stamp of approval time and time again. Going on its second year, Ear To Da Streets has received accolades from panel participants including notable hit-makers like Rockwilder, RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Kay Gee, Eddie F., Pete Rock, and Kanye West. In just under a year, attendance has tripled and the event has garnered rave reviews from many of hip-hop's most influential industry movers and shakers. "It's great when music people come to teach and share their experiences with the newer generations" expresses Kim Osorio, Editor in Chief of the Source - a regular participant of the event.
