Thanks To Media Attention, Geffen, Universal, Orange Recordings All Look In Superthrives Direction"

Updates on Superthrive the band.

Jersey City, NJ. March 28th 2003- Superthrive keep winning the hearts of the underground media. California Entertainment mag Moda Mag recently conducted a full length interview with the band on March 19th. The interview will appear on www.Rockconfidential.com and www.modamag.com .The band discussed working on their upcoming release and playing the NYC scene, amongst other topics. The web site Plaid Skurt Promotions reviewed the bands latest release Live At CBGBs" and hailed them as being the East Coasts Secret Weapon". The 10 tracks are as live and raw as it gets, as the guitars buzzsaw through your brain and the beefy rhythms keep the chunky funk pulsating throughout by the Tri-State Stoner Sensations".

The media has awoken some interest from labels. Inquiries have been steadily increasing from both major labels and independents. Within the past month Orange Recordings, Moon June Music, ACM Records and Geffen Records have contacted the band, and are now patiently awaiting the arrival of the new studio recording. This makes a total of 10 labels that have contacted the band in the past three months.

As tracking and mixing continues, the bands established music keeps making it onto underground radio and video programs. UMTV, Upstate NYs prime underground video program voted Superthrives Watch Us Burn" into the top ten of the category for Viewers Choice Favorite Live Video. Charles Leet of Live X Radio and Tony Wilson of Live UK Radio both found Superthrive music original and exciting enough to play on their stations.

The band is currently beginning to book shows throughout the tri-state area including Saturday April 12th at Hanks Saloon in Brooklyn NY (46 3rd Avenue), Saturday April 19th at LAmour (1545 3rd Street Brooklyn NY) and Wednesday April 30th at Don Hills (NYC).
