GovConnect Contracted to Update Child Care Programs

CINCINNATI, March 27, 2003 - GovConnect, a leader in providing service modernization solutions, consulting services and payment processing for governments and operating company of eONE Global, has been contracted in a large state to perform business process reengineering on the Child Care Programs.

This project will entail an analysis and research of all processes related to the child care program including detailed research on the flow of communication between the state agency the local boards and their contractors. The reengineering effort will involve a fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of the organization's business processes, from the customer's perspective, to achieve significant improvements in business performance. The end result will be the creation of functional business requirements for an automated system to support the newly developed processes.

"GovConnect has the experience and qualifications required in an effort of this scope," said Jeff Ficke, senior vice president of GovConnect. "Business process reengineering is a particularly strong service that we provide. We have experts in this area who will put together the specifications for a system that will serve the state now and into the future. The requirements developed by GovConnect will help the state in providing an automated system that meets the needs of the citizens who use those services."

During the six-month project, GovConnect will provide the agency with analysis and recommendations about existing business practices and automated support, assist in the development of a new business model, develop a plan for implementing the new changes, and create functional requirements and technical recommendations for a new child care system.

GovConnect has been facilitating government interaction with individuals and businesses for over 20 years. The company's innovative, state-of-the-art technology solutions are currently in place in 45 states.
