MEDICAL PUBLISHER OFFERS FREE ELECTRONIC CODING ON THE INTERNET FOR THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY
MCCS and PMIC have teamed up to offer free ICD-9-CM and DRG coding on the internet for the health care industry. The service is powered by MCCS' Flash Code, rated the #1 coding program by Medical Software Reviews.
Medical Coding & Compliance Solutions, LLC (MCCS) and its parent, Practice Management Information Corporation (PMIC), are pleased to provide the health care industry free use of the #1 ranked ICD-9-CM/DRG electronic coding software, powered by FLASH CODE.
The International Classification of Diseases, 9th Edition, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) is used by the health care industry to classify illnesses, injuries, signs, and symptoms. ICD-9-CM is mandated by federal law for all Medicare claims and is also defined as a code set under the new HIPAA regulations.
Unlike other free internet services, this service does not require registration, passwords or sign-on. The service was launched on March 4th and has already logged over 300,000 page views.
