Zombie Campout Now Available On DVD
Latetalk Productions announces Zombie Campout DVD release date.
DALLAS, Texas (PRWEB) April 2, 2003 - The Texas based independent film company, Latetalk Productions, announced today the official release date of their latest feature film, Zombie Campout, on DVD. The DVD will be available to the public through the movie's official website, http://www.zombiecampout.com">http://www.zombiecampout.com, and a limited number of stores throughout the DFW Metroplex on May 5th.
Filmed nearly exclusively in Flower Mound, a suburb of Dallas, due north of DFW Airport, Zombie Campout premiered last October at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas. The film has since been accepted into various film festivals throughout the country and future theatrical screenings are planned. "There has been a pretty decent demand for the film on DVD," says Joshua Smith, the film's producer, "It's really about time we released it."
The director's cut of the feature runs just over 90 minutes on the DVD. "We're so excited that the DVD will finally be available for everyone," says Mr. Smith, "that we packed it full of fun special features." The DVD includes cast biographies, behind the scenes photos, and even contains a few hidden special features commonly known as "easter eggs."
The DVD release on the 5th will be followed by an official DVD release party on Friday the 9th of May in the neighboring city of Addison the Times Square. Party goers will have the opportunity to not only purchase the DVD but will also be able to have their copy signed by the director and various cast members.
A graduate of the University of North Texas' popular film school, Mr. Smith has participated in various film and video production projects in the DFW area. Last May he won honorable mention at the Dallas Video Festival's 24 Hour Video Race. Zombie Campout is his first feature length production.
