Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford Promotes Mary Etter to Director of Finance

West Hartford, Conn. -- March 31, 2003 -The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford announced today the recent promotion of Mary Etter to Director of Finance.

As the Jewish Federations top financial professional, Ms. Etter oversees all financial matters pertaining to the Federation and The Community Capital Campaign. Her responsibilities include the preparation of all administrative budgets and quarterly reports, management of the organizations investments and financial positioning, as well as supervising all information technology and staff administrative functions.

Ms. Etter has an extensive accounting and financial background and has over seven years experience working with the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford as well as the Federations Endowment Foundation. Most recently, she served as Controller of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. Prior to that, she was the Financial Administrator to Federations Endowment Foundation.

Ms. Etter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and a Masters Degree from The University of Hartford. She and her husband John, and two young children, reside in Southington, Conn.
