Free Lecture sponsored by the Ayn Rand Institute: AMERICA vs. AMERICANS

From its beginning, America has stood for the ideals of the Enlightenment: reason, individual rights, capitalism, the pursuit of happiness. The dominant trends in America today, however--trends endorsed not only by our leadership, but seemingly by the public at large--represent the opposite of these ideals. In his talk, Dr. Peikoff explores this contradiction, along with our current moral cowardice, giving special emphasis to foreign policy.

Who: Dr. Leonard Peikoff, legal and intellectual heir of novelist/philosopher Ayn Rand, and founder of the Ayn Rand Institute. Dr. Peikoff is the author of Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand and The Ominous Parallels: The End of Freedom in America.

What: Lecture titled America vs. Americans" followed by a Q&A and a reception. The public and media are invited. Admission is free.
