Oldsmar Little League and YouSpeak launch Real-Time Web site updates for last minute weather-related game & schedule changes.

TAMPA, Fla. -- April 03, 2003 -- YouSpeak Network gives Oldsmar Little League the ability to inform players and parents, Real-Time, about last minute weather-related changes/field-conditions and game reschedules with YouSpeak audio application.

YouSpeak Network and Oldsmar Little League have begun using a new service that allows parents and players the ability to access voice recordings on the OLL Web homepage. These recordings utilize YouSpeak technology, which allows YouSpeak account holders to call-in, toll-free, to local telephone systems, and record full-length voice messages, that are then instantly available on their web sites for playback. This has been wonderful" says Stephanie Frank, a OLL Board of Directors member, and the Vice President of Girls Softball. In the past, we had to call or email everyone about the changes, and hope we could reach them in time, or they would have to call into our answering machine one at a time. Now, with one phone call to the YouSpeak system, we have notified everybody. Its great! It is also a BIG plus, when the weather is unpredictable, like here in Florida, and within a matter of 30 minutes, a game could be on-again and off-again. This gives us the ability to change our message with the weather, minute-by-minute. Oldsmar Little League is in District 12, which is evaluating this service for all their leagues. Its time-saving and smart, and priced at only $7.00 a month, we just couldnt pass it up" says Mrs. Frank. We are also looking at expanding its use with recorded coaching tips and messages about our sponsoring businesses. We have noticed it has increased our web site traffic, which is an added benefit to our sponsors".
