IBCs Mobile Messaging Americas 2003: Targeting the text generation!

Boston, USA, March 27th. -- As mobile text messaging starts to take off in the US and Latin America, IBC are launching Mobile Messaging Americas 2003, a networking conference and exhibition that will bring together key experts from the messaging community to share their expertise and discuss strategies for stimulating the growth and profit from SMS, MMS and mobile IM.

Mobile Messaging Americas 2003 will be held from June 11 to 12 at Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel, in the USA. During the conference, the audience will be able to learn from leading executives from Verizon Wireless, Sprint PCS, AT&T Wireless, Rogers AT&T, Cingular Wireless, TIM Brazil, TIM Peru, BellSouth, Nuevatel, Fox Sports and Sony Music, just some of the 18 scheduled case studies.

In European and Asian markets mobile messaging has been driven by younger, tech savvy users. The event will look at ways to encourage the teen market to take up text messaging through premium downloads and interactivity with TV shows."

Finally, she believes that interoperability agreements between operators have opened up the channels to increase messaging, now carriers need to develop services and marketing strategies to drive the market forward. Using case studies from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Europe, USA, Canada, Brazil, Peru, West Indies and Ecuador, the event will help carriers to map out their messaging strategies."

In addition, on June 10th and 13th there will be three strategic seminars on launching mobile services, learning strategies to tackle the corporate mobile messaging market, and launching a successful wireless instant messaging services.
