AKS-Labs has released v. 7.6 of QuickWiper, a file wipe utility for Windows 95/98/NT that deletes unwanted files, wipe free disk space and has integrated System Cleaner to clear recently files, IE cookies, history, cache.

QuickWiper provides quick and secure file deletion. It looks like Windows Recycle Bin -- similar icon and similar usage. Just drag and drop necessary files upon QuickWipers icon to begin wiping.

User can choose NSA erasure algorithm to make deletion most secure -- QuickWiper will overwrite file with random pattern for 7 times. QuickWiper has a unique Secure Folder option that prevents recovering of temporary files (such as MS Office creates) by overwriting free space near you current file.

Wiping Free Space option perform securing of selected disk. QuickWiper will display the process of wiping and estimated time.

System Clear will be useful for Internet Explorers uses. By one-click user can clear IE cache, cookies, history, temporary internet files and even typed URLs (URLs that cannot be delete manually). Finally QuickWiper cleans recently files (Start -- Documents).

Use QuickWiper for both: deleting and wiping. QuickWiper can freely delete files (not wipe) or move them to the Recycle Bin.

With help system of QuickWiper users can find everything from precise technical information (concerned wiping algorithms) to using tips.

Now QuickWiper can be run with command line parameters. With such a feature users can make a hot-key for beginning the process of hidden wiping or wipe free space regularly.
